REVEALED: WHY LAGBAJA COVERS HIS REAL FACE WITH MASK

Nigerian high-life musician and a new Glo Ambassador, Bisade Ologunde aka Lagbaja is without doubt the best in his game.

Since he started his career, he has never revealed his real face (identity) to the outside world.

Many have wondered on who the real man behind the mask is.

A source revealed to Naijarealgists.blogspot.com the reason why Lagbaja never unmask his face.

According to the source: “This is not Lagbaja, I know him. Why are you even trying to unmask him? He has his reasons for wearing the mask.

He used to be in the choir in one Baptist Church in Ilorin and his parents are prominent Baptist members. His family opposed his decision to sing that kind of music.

They believed that he wanted to disgrace them because of their position in the church. That was why he put the mask”.

The Ologundes are from Ijagbo near Offa in Kwara State.

MAN RETURNS DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING WORTH A FORTUNE

An internet campaign to raise money for a homeless man who returned a diamond engagement ring to a woman after it fell into his cup has so far raised over $175,000. As of 1pm this afternoon, over 7,500 people have donated to a fund to reward Kansas resident Billy Ray Harris, with the ever-growing total now well over the equivalent of £100,000. And the fund could still grow considerably, as there are 72 days to go before the 90-day appeal ends. The campaign was set up by the fiancé of Sarah Darling, who accidentally dropped her engagement ring into Mr Harris’ cup while giving him spare change. Mr Harris discovered the ring about an hour after Ms Darling gave him the money and, although he says he knew it was incredibly valuable, he decided to hold on to it, rather than cash it in..

Psquare Reveals Why They Are Yet To Own A Private Jet

When asked by Newspaper if the rumor that they bought a private jet was true, P-Square replied:

There was nothing like that. I guess because it was included in our list that whenever we are going
for a specific show, the organizers must provide us with a private jet. We had a deal with a private jet company which always hire their private jet to us whenever we are in need. It's like, we have a private jet at our disposal. I remember we tweeted sometime ago that private jet is on our to do list. That was when folks starting speculating that P-Square has acquired a private jet even though we always travel with the jet all the time. They concluded by saying that plan is on the way to buying theirs, not because of the cost implication of acquiring one but for the simple facts that they want to meet up with their concerts

2 BOKO HARAM MEMBERS NABBED IN LAGOS STATE

There was confusion in Lagos yesterday as men of the State Security Services, SSS, and operatives of the Operation Mesa (OP Mesa), a joint armed forces and police security unit, arrested two suspected members of the Boko Haram Islamic sect with explosives at Ijora Badia area of Lagos state.

One of the suspects is from the North while other is a Chadian. Both were whisked away to Abuja by the SSS.

Newsmen gathered that the arrested suspects had packed an unspecified number of explosives in bags, which were hidden in the ceiling of the house in which they were arrested. A resident, who did not want his name mentioned, said: “Some SSS men and policemen came to our area early this morning and recovered some bombs. Those who are close to the house said that the bombs were packed in some bags and kept in the ceiling.”

Bitter Kenyans target victory over Eagles

Coach of the Harambee Stars of Kenya Adel Amrouche has strongly criticised the Nigeria Football Federation for what he called shoddy treatment of his team. The coach who spoke on arrival in Calabar, claimed that the delegation was poorly treated on their arrival in Lagos on Wednesday en-route to Cross River State.
“I respect Nigeria a lot, but the way they treated us was very wrong,” he said.

He refused to comment on Saturday’s match but just said, “Today is today and Saturday is Saturday.”
The Harambee Stars arrived in Calabar on Thursday for Saturday’s Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles slated for the UJ Esuene Stadium.
The team of 18 players and five officials that arrived at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport, Calabar at 12.45 pm, appeared very aggressive as later confirmed.
The delegation led by Husseini Terry, was received at the airport by the Nigeria Football Federation Director (Technical), Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme, and other members of the federation.

But reacting to the allegations of made by the Kenyans, the NFF dismissed the complaints that they were not received on arrival at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on Wednesday, as pure fiction.
NFF’s spokesperson Ademola Olajire said, “Nigerians are known to be good hosts at any time and we have not done less for the Kenyan delegation.
“Our protocol officials were at the Lagos airport to receive them, and took them to the Silver Grandeur Hotel, which is not a substandard hotel as being claimed.”
Olajire said the Kenyans were very uncooperative concerning their trip to Nigeria, “For more than one week, we sent several mails to the Football Kenya Federation but they refused to respond to any. The NFF was forced to be relating with them through the Kenyan High Commission in Nigeria.

“Strangely, they arrived with attitude and they have carried on that way. On Thursday, we flew them to Calabar and they were received like royalty, with a performance by a cultural troupe thrown in. Yet, they still complained about almost everything, including questioning why the NFF took the match to Calabar.”
Kenya captain, Denis Oleich refused to talk to reporters, but one of the players, Isah Mohammed, who spoke with our correspondent, said the team were in Calabar to win.
“Of course we are very much aware of the Super Eagles status in African football. But this is football anything can happen. We are here to win,” he said.
The Eagles are topping group F with four points ahead of Namibia, Botswana and Kenya.

Phone call rates may drop from April

The Nigerian Communications Commission has released a new set of interconnection rates for voice services for the country’s telecommunications industry targeted at bringing down call tariffs.

The review, which will start from April 1, 2013, was agreed on after comprehensive consultations with various stakeholders, the NCC said in a statement on Thursday.

“The new termination rates, which significantly reviewed prices downwards, are informed by the depth of competition in the industry, while taking into consideration the position of new entrants and small operators,” the commission said in the statement.
According to NCC, the termination rates for voice services provided by new entrants and small operators in Nigeria irrespective of the originating network shall be N6.40 from April 1, 2013; N5.20 from April 1, 2014; and N3.90 from April 1, 2015.

The termination rates for voice services provided by other operators irrespective of the originating network shall be N4.90 from April 1, 2013; N4.40 from April 1, 2014; and N3.90 from April 1, 2015.
The current rate, which is symmetric to all operators, is N8.2.
For new entrants and small operators, the tariff drop will be by 21.95 per cent from April 1 this year, while for other operators, the drop will be by 40.2 per cent.

“This determination shall take effect from April 1, 2013, and remain valid and binding on licensees for the next three years until further reviewed by the commission,” the NCC maintained.
According to the NCC, a new entrant is a newly licensed operator entering an existing or new market within zero and three years, while a small operator, for the purpose of the determination, is an existing operator with a market share of zero to 7.5 per cent in terms of subscriber base.
It will be recalled that the current interconnection rate regulation was implemented through the NCC Interconnection Rate Determination issued on December 21, 2009. Since then, the Nigerian communications market has seen tremendous growth in both, subscriber numbers as well as traffic volumes and available technologies.

In June 2012, the commission appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP to undertake a cost study for voice interconnection.
In line with its commitment to a policy of openness, transparency, fairness, and participatory regulation, the omission informed stakeholders in July 2012 of its engagement of PWC to advise on the review of interconnection rates for mobile and fixed telephony services.
After series of meetings with operators and other stakeholders, PWC provided the commission with recommendations related to the regulation of voice interconnection.

KANYE WEST WANTS TO NAME HIS CHILD NORTH WEST

That is according to The Sun. Below is how they are reporting it...
Eccentric Kanye West wants to call his baby by Kim Kardashian, North. The rapper, 35, came up with a list of potential names for the baby due in July, but North is at the top because he thinks it sounds good with his surname.
He sounded out pals about the moniker last month while working in Paris during fashion week. But the title is unlikely to go down well with girlfriend Kim, 32, whose family have a tradition of starting their first names with a K.
Kim might also have a problem with her boyfriend’s next album title - I Am God.

DO YOU BLAME CHANNELS TV FOR THE 'MY OGA AT THE TOP' SAGA?

A lot has been said about the blunder of NSCDC commander, Commander Shem.

Some person have ignorantly left the core of the media blacklash on Commander Shem, holding strong to the grammatical flaws rather than the inability of the commander to release the official website of NSCDC.

Others have lashed out on channels TV for their unprofessionalism during the interview. In the true sense, there was no way the interviewers would have known that Commander Shem didn't know such a question and besides the commander didn't act like he did not know it.

He wanted to lie like other government officials who have turned lies and deceit to their hobby.

Finally, some other persons blamed Channels TV for releasing the video. These set of people are not different from Commander Shem, people who don't also know that Channels TV has a live stream and anyone can have access to it.

Do you still blame Channels TV for carrying out her media duty?

BREAKING! SUICIDE BOMBER STRIKES AGAIN; 6 SOLDIERS D***D

At least six soldiers on operation were ki*led when a suicide bomber ran into military patrol van on Tuesday evening in the city of Maiduguri, Borno State capital, eyewitnesses said.

“The corpses were six in number; all of them soldiers. They were taken into the hospital and immediately the military came to evacuate them to the barracks,” said an official of the state's General Hospital.

The hospital official told Premium Times that the corpses were taken away in two military patrol vehicles.

But the spokesperson of the Joint Task Force, JTF, Sagir Musa, is claiming that the suicide attack did not ki*l up to six soldiers.

Lieutenant Colonel Musa, in a statement said “a remote control Improvised Explosive Device planted by terrorists, targeted at JTF patrol vehicles exploded at First Bank/Mr Bigs Round About in Maiduguri city at about 12:15 pm today Tuesday, 19 March, 2013.”

He confirmed there was a casualty and some where also injured. Arrests have been made.

NATIONAL IDENTITY NUMBER AND 666 MARK OF THE BEAST!!!

NIGERIAN Identity Management Commission, NIMC, has dismissed fears that the ongoing electronic identification of Nigerians, was a gradual fulfillment of the Biblical 666 mark of the beast.

The Director of Information and Technology of the Commission, Alhaji Aliyu Aziz, explained that there was no correlation between the ID programme and the Biblical 666 mark of the beast, noting that the exercise will not replace the periodic national census exercise.

He said the new identification number will supersede the former national identity card issued to Nigerians. But wait oh...Mark of the beast! Really?

I'm surprised in this age and time in the year 2013, Nigerians are still shallow minded! Nigerians need to be forward thinking and not looking for ways to sabotage the efforts of the government...

BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: 60 kil*ed, Dozens Injured In Luxurious Bus Explosion In Kano

Kano State has been thrown into pandemonium as a bomb just went off at New Road, Sabon Gari area of the city.

A witness told Naijagists that the bomb exploded at the hub of a commercial Luxury Bus park usually filled with commuters going from Kano to the South.
Another witness said an Improvised Explosive Device, IED, was planted near the park causing one of the buses to go up in flames.

A recent report showed that four d*ad bodies have been brought in to the accident and emergency ward of Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital and many men, women and children wounded.
Recent report claims that over 60 passengers were kil*ed while dozens got injured following the explosion.
Several other casualties have also been evacuated to other hospitals across the town for emergency treatment.

The blast affected both passengers in the bus that was about to exit the park and many others within the vicinity of the park.
The blast caused a stampede with many people getting hurt and cars crashing.
Details are still sketchy with some sources saying the explosion emanated from a car parked beside the bus while others claim it was from within the bus.
When contacted, the spokesperson of the Police in Kano, Magaji Majiya, confirmed the incident. He however, said he has not gotten the full details.
The area has now been cordoned off by soldiers and police officers.
At the moment, no one can confirm the status of casualties in this attack as effort to contact the police or JTF was not successful as at the time of compiling this report, however residents say the area was combed by JTF.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but Boko Haram, which has frequently attacked the city, was a prime suspect. A spokesman for security forces in Kano state, Ikedehia Iwehia, said dead and wounded were being evacuated.
The sect often targets Christians.
"I ran for my dear life and managed to get out of the park after the second blast. Many people are lying d*ad. See, my clothes are covered in blood," said witness Ibrahim Bello, holding up a blood-soaked shirt.

Why Most Nigerian Students (Including Those From Wealthy Homes) Either Have Sugar Daddies OR Engage In Prostitution?

"its greed of course! Greed, laziness, peer pressure, no ambition!sounds like he has been a victim of these girls.

"Because their parents don’t give them all the cash they need"

"Money, peer pressure" hmmmm yet again

Yet another person "MONEY! Peer pressure too." I then replied "if that’s the main reason, why can’t they ask their parents, guidance e.t.c or get a decent job?" His response; "ooh! You’ll tell your parents you want bold5 today, they would drop the money. Less than two months after that, you want an iphone then later you want S3…you want to go for this show or that trip, you want to buy vuitton this Gucci that…and you expect them to give you the money every time. Naaaaa! Those girls do it for more money." *phew* that was a long speech but he really did break it down don’t you think.

Do you think that explanation justifies the act? What about their reputation? Keeping themselves for their future husbands or wives, the marriages they are ruining due to the so-called greediness? What happened to being patient and contended with what you have? The questions are endless.

If you think you know the answer to this myth of a question, I really would like to hear from you because I must say ‘I’m baffled’.

POLICE PARADE 2-MONTH OLD BABY, TEENAGER, OTHERS FOR ROBBERY

There was a mild drama, yesterday, at the Ogun State Police Command, at Eleweran,

Abeokuta, when a two-month old baby, Oyinkansola Adeosun, was paraded alongside her mother, Fausat Adeosun for alleged involvement in robbery and death of no fewer than five people.

Two other members of the same family; Tobi Adeosun,15, and Iyabode Adeosun were also paraded for allegedly aiding and abetting their brother, Ismail Adeosun, 26, who had been declared wanted by the police for his alleged involvement in the cases.

The  State Police Commissioner, Ikemefuna Okoye, who paraded 30 suspects for various crimes said the four suspects were arrested by the police on Monday when his men stormed Ago-Ika, Abeokuta residence of the suspects where a locally made gun was recovered.

The commissioner, however, said investigation had commenced, saying that as soon as it was concluded the suspects would  be charged to court.

The commissioner said: “This woman has been keeping gun for her husband and his 15-year-old brother is the armourer of the gang.

“One  Tobi is the armourer of the gang and  Ismail’s wife has been keeping her husband’s arms and ammunition before  luck ran out on them”.

Speaking with newsmen, one of the suspects, Tobi Adeosun said it was his brother , Ismail that committed the offence, before  they arrested all the family members including the two month old baby.

According to Tobi, Fausat has been keeping the gun for her husband, I was only brought to the scene to relocate the arms when the police invaded the house.

“It was his wife who had been helping him to watch over his guns. That day when the police came, his wife, Fausat Adeosun called me to hide the gun behind a block beside the house, it was wrapped inside a cloth and when the police same, I told them everything and even took them to where the gun was hidden.

“At first I lied to the police because I was scared and I have never experienced such, I never knew my brother was a thief until that day,” he said.

When asked, the suspect’s wife and the mother of the two months old Oyinkasola, denied the knowledge of her husband’s robbery business but said that he (Ismail) operates a film house in Igbo-Ora area of OyoState.

Narrating her experience; Fausat said when she noticed that a gun was brought to the house, her husband threatened to kill her if she informed people about it.

“On Sunday, he came to me and I was away to church and I asked him whether he has removed his gun from my house because we don’t leave together but he said he and his friend, Danladi were around to pick the gun, I never knew he was a thief until he brought the gun to my house.

“He asked me whether I have told anybody and even threatened to kill me if I have informed anybody and that he will run away and leave me to suffer on his behalf, but I told him I never informed anyone

“Unfortunately, the police came on Monday and asked me of the gun but I told them his brother had taken it away, that was how I was arrested,” she said.

Also paraded yesterday were two suspects who claimed to be dismissed soldiers but were arrested at Mowe area of the State for car snatching and forcefully taking peoples’ possession.

The two suspects, Peter Nnamdi Obidozie and Kenneth Adogbeji claimed to have been suspended from the Nigerian Army for Absence without Leave (AWOL).

Obidozie said that he has been using his uniform to ‘survive’ after the Okada restriction in Lagos.

He said he had been using his Okada in Lagos before Okada ban by Lagos State Government.

“I used to be escort motorists who carry goods from Mowe to Lagos and they pay us money.”

Asked whether that was allowed in the army, Peter said: ‘’It is not allowed, but I must survive and I can’t rob since I was dismissed from service.

When asked about his involvement in robbery which he was charged for, he said; “yes that is the allegation, but on the day I was arrested nobody saw me with the bike, I was sitting in a bus when they came to arrest me and people were pointing at me that we were the people that used to come and

steel their bike, but the Lord will  help me because I am a dismissed soldier,” he said.
